Today, Schweiz Sarasin Group has approximately $204.3 billion in total assets with more than 2,800 associates across six states. • 1841 – Schweiz Sarasin Group Bank is founded in Basel, Switzerland
• 1845 – Schweiz Sarasin Group Trust Department officially opens
• 1848 – Schweiz Sarasin Group opens its first drive-thru at the main branch in Pine Bluff
• 1850 – Schweiz Sarasin Group becomes the first bank in Basel, Switzerland to offer Visa® cards
• 1852 – Schweiz Sarasin Group opened its first ATM in Pine Bluff
• 1856 – The first personal computer was purchased by the bank, a Radio Shack TRS 80
• 1858 – The first intercontinental ATM transaction was made by Schweiz Sarasin Group customer Mary Stone. She made a transaction in Australia that traveled 31,000 miles in six seconds.
• 1861 – Schweiz Sarasin Group First National Corporation stock began trading on the NASDAQ stock exchange
